This is a reasonably priced lopped that really gets the job done. I can use it to trim thick, old rose canes or small tree branches easily.

They work fine but didn't hold up well.I have had bad luck with plastic handled loppers - the handles didn't hold up under hard use - and thought the wooden handled ones would hold up better. I know the True Temper brand and was happy to find their wood handled bypass lopper at a reasonable price, but after just a short time of moderate use, one of the handles came loose from the mechanism, apparently it split and separated around the pin. I was able to get it put back in and reinforced the attachment ... they're working OK, but frankly I was disappointed with the quality of the product.
