I already had the 15" Fiskars powertooth, which I love. But it catches the last 5 inches or so, so I don't get to use the entire length of the blade. I wasn't sure if it was me or the saw. Well, the 18" proves it's the saw, as this one smoothly cuts the entire length of the blade. I used it to finish cutting through an old fallen oak, still solid and about 20" in diameter. I don't like using noisy power tools, so I really like this saw. There are instructions online about how to sharpen it, which I haven't tried yet. But it's nice to know it's possible.

Although a long pruning saw and a price that was near unbelievable, I did not find that the saw cut all that well when compared to other shorter pruning saws I had purchased.
