Had to dig a trench for my water main in my front yard. Went through HARD clay, concrete and rock. Love the handle. Yeah its heavy on the end... its supposed to be. Get off the couch once in a while and it is not that hard to swing.

For Past one year, I had been using my neighbor's railroad pick, and just fall in love with that tool. I looked for it at Home-depot, and lowes every time i visited, but couldn't locate the same pick blade as of this pick ax. I have just placed this order, and cannot wait for to arrive in 3 to 5 days... I do not need any recommendation as I am well aware of this pick ax. But I will do something radical... I will exchange this for the old one from my neighbor because i really beat up his tool last summer... He deserves this new one, and i will be just happy with the same one one... But then I think He once said that it belonged to his diseased grandpa.. Will he accept the exchange offer? hmmmmmmm!
