I just spent an hour out in the yard with the Yard Butler tiller, and this makes easy work of turning dirt over.I have an untouched expanse of yard that I am planting bulbs in this fall and I wanted to loosen up the dirt and mix in some peat moss. It is hard and compacted dirt, and this manual tiller really broke through the soil, thanks to the ability to step on it and yank it back and forth.The design makes it easy to step directly over the tines to drive them into dirt, and it is easy to control with the wide-arm handle. The wide handle allows for more leverage when pulling the tines out. Because my dirt is so hard, I spend most of my effort standing on it and working the handle back and forth.There is nothing on the item label that mentions the warranty, but their website says they guarantee their tools for the lifetime of the tool.I think this tiller is much easier to use than others out there, but it still takes a lot of energy to manually till a garden. If you're up for the workout, I highly recommend this tiller.

I was skeptical when I ordered this hand tiller, especially about it's quality. The first time I used it, I was "sold". It's a good, sturdy product and easy to use. I "tore up" some space to plant some lettuce and weeded and prepared a seed bed in no time. Just push it into the ground with your foot and twist----that's it !
