I'm a woman with medium size hands - I'm right handed.It's a bit big & I can't lock & unlock the orange knob without using my other hand.I believe if you were left handed you'd be able to the way the orange knob is designed.It cuts hard wood like it says which I love! Great for old woody rosemary.

I like these. The loop handle grip, the catch for fastening them shut and the ability to easily fasten them to your belt make this a well designed tool that is pleasant to use.SECOND THOUGHTS. This tool too often painfully pinches the fleshy part of the thumb. I came to dislike it.

This pruner cuts pretty well but the big problem which we noticed is that it is so easy to painfully pinch your fingers when you are cutting. I was disappointed in this tool.
