So for the price and all that, it's fine. Does it's job of protecting the bulb and reducing immediate temperatures.

I highly recommend adding this to any lens to ensure if the bulb bursts, the molten hot glass is contained inside and not thrown all over. I really do not know why they are even allowed to sell these fixtures without it being fully enclosed.

Not much to say - works well, fits my sunburst system perfectly. Be careful moving your light though, as the glass just slides in and out. Seems solid, keeps the area under my light nice and cool combined with an exhaust fan.
