This is a great pick at a great value. I easily tore through roots of old stumps, never feeling the tool was going to give at any point. It also worked right through some of our Missouri clay soil that was used as a gravel mound. When I purchased the pick it was a bit cheaper than the $44.68 price, but I think it would still be worth the current price.

We bought this to replace an old one that the head kept coming off of. It is much better balanced and the handle is comfortable. Very happy with this item. I have used it to chop roots, remove unwanted grass and digg up an area for new planting. It seems to be really well made.
