Well made, sturdy handle and solid as well......Rakes leaves quicker and easier since handle is longer and allows a person to move handle with less force.......Not your cheapie made rake seen at the big box stores.....

Causing headaches

I would give it a higher rating except that it arrived with a broken handle. Amazon was great about shipping a replacement but it arrived with a handle that was not afixed to the wood doweling that it slides over. As a result the handle swivels and then pulls off. I'll fix it with glue and a set screw but I'm not sure why i have to do their work. Setting all that aside, the rake is well made, maybe even over built.

Moves some serious air

This fan is amazing! I had ordered a squirrel cage fan rated at 180 cfm that just wasn't getting the job done. I spent $125 on it. Returned it the other day and I ordered this bad boy for the same price with shipping. I've managed to drop my temps by over 20 degrees (in a rather small space mind you). This thing can move some serious air. The only thing to take into consideration is the noise level, it's pretty loud, but that's to be expected from such a powerful fan. It even includes wall brackets, all you need are some anchors and screws. And to top it off, I received it two days after ordering. I highly recommend this fan if you're looking to drop temps and recycle air quickly.

Half as much $ as hydro store

Very good deal and way cheaper than hydro store. You can over-do lighting but you cant over do ventilation. the more overkill you go, the better. please get the 8 inch as it is only 100 bucks and you cant do any harm to your plants by going big.

I cant even begin to explain how great the performance of this fan is .my garden is cool and beautiful. Im drawing through three lights and a carbon filter and i still use a speed controler because this fan is so efficient .thanks hydrofarm for a great product .

It's the Blades.

I picked up this Green Thumb Bow Saw many, many years ago. It was cheap, but it's gotten a lot of good service, although most of the things I've done are pretty light duty. I've gotten angry at it for not sawing any easier or faster, and the blades haven't seemed to last very long.Well, the last time I bought two new blades I picked up a pair that said they were made of Swedish steel. If only I could remember the brand name. These blades transformed my cheap old Green Thumb Bow Saw into a whole new instrument. It cut faster, more precisely and could handle even good sized logs. It was simply amazing. I now even use it for going camping and I never run out of fire wood. Plus, the Swedish steel blades have lasted a real long time.Well, obviously, the performance of the bow saw is a function of what blades you use. My Green Thumb Bow Saw is cheap and minimal, but, really, that's all you need. The saw frame holds the blade firmly and the combination does the job nicely. But, put some effort into finding the very best blades.Gary Peterson

Not very good

The price is right, at 1/3 roughly of a Felco, but I have both and I can tell you the Felco makes cutting fun and this tool just feels clunky and clumsy. It is bigger than my Felco, but even so has a much harder time cutting 1/2 twigs. I'd suggest thinking twice before skimping in this area, and buy a nice tool.

They are indeed professional. But, you have to have hands like a gorilla to use them. They will last forever because I can't get a good grip on them. Maybe some type of rubber coating would have helped.

Pretty good, but not as good as I expected

I have to work really hard to get these shears to cut a 1" branch, harder than I have worked with comparable shears.It does work, though. And the catch holds the shears closed nicely--sometimes a little too nicely!

So happy with my first purchase, I am trying another ErgoDig tool

I purchased a new shovel online after having a lot of success with another "Ergo" trowel product they make. It seems like my local garden center always has the same items and I wanted to try and find something that would make the job of planting a little easier. I was excited to give this one a try. Although it appears just like another long handle garden tool, boy does the contoured end make a difference. It made planting my 30 or so Fall Mums a pleasure! Beautiful piece of wood, not waxed too much which would make it slippery. It came with a wooden holding wedge, that I didn't use - opting for the metal ribbed (holding) wedge that came out of the maul-handle that I had broken.How do you get the piece of the old handle out of the head of the axe/maul? You burn it, throw it in a firepit or fireplace for a few housrs, and voila remove - old wood is gone.Good product, highly recommend.

solid maul handle

This handle is a good solid handle. I had to modify my maul to accept the axe eye shaft, but the increased strengh is well worth it. The oval grip is much better for accuracy over the sledge handles that I broke several of.

Not just for dandylions

This tool works well to pull up many kinds of weeds by the roots, not just dandylions. It works much better than the traditional tool without the leaver. I've had two similar tools. I broke the handle on one and had a hard time finding a replacement. I word down the prongs on the second one, so rather than try to find it at a hardware store, I bought it here.

Excellent for "Tap Root" Weeds

This is a perfect small hand tool for extracting those weeds that have the large tap roof under them. Fits right under the weed, then you just rock on the curved surface and it pulls the weed right up. Love it for my front flower gardens. Perfect size for getting into smaller areas.
