With a plastic as opposed to metal collar for the tines, this is a lighter weight version of the excellent, but rather heavy all-metal Wolf-Garten rake. WOLF-Garten 3535004 Garden Rake This rake is not as wide as it looks in the picture; for simple chores like leaf raking, you may well be happier with a wide bamboo rake, which covers more surface area. The springy metal tines of this rake will scratch at the surface well, which makes it good for removing dead grass and thatch, and scarifying the surface for seeding. So, I recommend this as a quality product, but if what you really need is a wide leaf rake for autumn, you may prefer a traditional bamboo rake.
