By Burney Cain
Corona makes nothing but great hand tools. Prior experience with loppers and hand saws has been excellent. All are made with high quality forged carbide steel and even in stainless steel as these snips are. Grip is comfortable, the spring is easy on the hand even after many cuttings so no aches or cramping from straining your small hand muscles. Only comparable quality hand tools are made by Stihl which can only be bought at Stihl dealers and prices are considerably higher and never on sale. A local power equipment dealer who sells both lines told me to go with the Corona and save money. He was right. Amazon carries the whole line of Corona products whereas the above dealer tends to carry only the higher end models of each type hand tool. I also ordered the Corona AC 8300 hand sharpener/file with its tungsten carbide end piece. It is four times harder than the tool steel and you can restore a razor sharp cutting edge to all the snips, pruners, and loppers you have whether from Corona or another manufacturer. Order this also. The one improvement that could be made is to get a better holder than the leather strap at the bottom. It is going to tear, rip, or rot someday and then how do you hold the handles together and not have two sharp points and a sharp edge to deal with if the snips are left "open". This is low end but serves my purposes around my house. Good quality tool for the money.

By Jean L. Payne
Corona Clippers are the best garden clipping tool I've ever own, and I've owned many! This little clipper is sharp, accurate, and can even cut the most delicate stem or twig. Perfect for trimming back irises and other spring flowers. Perfect for detail snipping when thinning out bushes like Hibiscus or Rose of Sharon and prunning smaller twigs on fruit trees. I highly recommend the Corona Snipper. I use them on everything including roses, ice plant, Lantana, photinia, boxwood, privet, Lilly of the Nile, Indian Hawthorn, and African Daisy. I use them for pruning fruit trees and cutting up tree limbs into smaller pieces for the green waste bins after using a chain saw to remove larger limbs or cutting up branches that broke off in the wind. These guys are work horses!

By mary vereker
I was given a pair of Corona clippers some years ago by a gardening friend. Sadly I lost them, but I was determined to find another pair as they are without doudt one of my most precious garden tools. They are easy to slip into a pocket, not at all heavy but strong.Because of the shape of the pointed tip, they able to reach into little spaces and branches that others secateurs cannot manage. They are also excellent for cutting flowers, and even pruning. I never go into the garden without them.
