We have many ornamental bushes on our property and I do an exceptional amount of pruning, so much in fact I carry three pairs of bypass pruners on my belt when I begin a day of pruning so I won't have to make a lot of trips back to the shop for sharpening and tension adjustments. Over the years I've found that the two piece pruners hold up the best. Never cared for the ones with the main blade being attached via pins or rivets, they just haven't held up and I've ended up pitching every pair I ever had. This particular unit from Fiskars has proven to be an exception. The design of the handles allows better leverage and less strain on the wrist and fingers. The blade made of high tensile tool steel holds it's edge better than any other unit I own and cuts some pretty stout branches that I normally would grab the larger lopping shears to cut. I will be adding a couple extra units to my arsenal.

The way the weight is distributed on these pruners makes work really easy and my hand/wrist don't get so tired and sore..You can prune for hours with these !!

I purchased these pruners because they looked like they were constructed/designed well... and I was right!! they are very ruggedly constructed and work perfectly. I definitely would purchase them again...
